Fit

Another simple love song that, while not autobiographical, captures the feelings I have for my wife. Written September 11, 2008, it’s a 2-minute (if that) acoustic ditty that I’ve only played solo; doesn’t quite lend itself to a band arrangement.

One look from you and I can see

How it will be

I’ll tell you

How well you

Fit with me

One day you’ll sit me down, a hand on my knee

There’ll be no plea

I’ll just tell you

How well you

Fit with me

You’ve been so good to wait for me to speak my mind

I’m not one to share the things I find

But I’ll tell you

How well you

Fit with me

Babe I’m at a loss to tell you why she

Set me free

But I can tell you

How well you

Fit with me
